What this site is
CalculatorByState provides free calculators (starting with mortgage calculators) and educational articles. It does not require an account, does not sell anything directly, and does not route your information to lenders, insurers, or any other third party for marketing purposes — see our methodology page for the product pledge this policy backs up.
Information you enter into a calculator
When you use a calculator on this site (for example, entering an income, home price, or down payment), that information is sent to our server only to perform the calculation and return a result to your browser. We do not create an account for you, and we do not store the financial figures you enter in a database tied to your identity. Ordinary web server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) may be retained briefly for security and reliability purposes, as is standard for any website.
Advertising and cookies
This site is funded by display advertising. Once advertising is active, we (and our advertising partners, including Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally by visiting aboutads.info/choices. Analytics
We may use standard web analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns (which pages are visited, how often) to improve the site. This data is used in aggregate, not to identify individual visitors.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
